Micromax is continuing with its launch spree and expanding its portfolio both at the lower end as well as upper end of the market. Interestingly, its latest launch is its flagship and comes just three months after the launch of Micromax Canvas 4 A210 back in July. Dubbed as Canvas Turbo A250, the phone is heavily promoted by its brand ambassador Hugh Jackman.
Micromax has added a bunch of its apps in the smartphone, namely, M! Live, M! Security, etc. There are some third-party apps as well like Spuul, Hike, Opera Mini, etc. The company has also partnered with BlackBerry to bring its popular messaging app BBM on the phone, which was recently launched for Android and iOS users. There are some useful features which were available in Canvas 4 and Doodle 2 such as Look Away, Video pinning, Blow to unlock, etc. in the software. There is a new feature called iFloat which will bring a quick launcher for frequently needed apps by press of a button and it’s available at all screens. Camerazzi app introduces new settings for capturing photos and videos. The device can be updated directly on the air via FOTA option.
