Indian manufacturer Lava have created a strong foothold in mobile phones market in such a short time. Company is catering to both affordable and mid-range segment with its Lava and Xolo sub brands. Now the company is hoping to replicate this success in the rapidly growing tablet segment. Just last month it had announced Xolo Tab and now the company is out with another device dubbed as Xolo Play Tab.
The name of the tablet comes from gaming centric Xolo Play smartphone released few months ago and got really good response. The tablet also supports video playback at Full HD resolution. The device will be preloaded with Tegra Zone which gives access to some exclusive games optimized for Tegra processor.
The device aims to offer performance at an economical pricing. However, only thing missing in the device is the missing SIM slot which means it can’t be used for voice calling or even data connectivity. This feature has become almost must-have for Indian users.
