Tech enthusiasts term 2014 as the year of wearables. Well, we just have got a handful of wearable tech devices out there, and how can we predict that this is the year for wearable tech devices?
Well, that’s because a greater part of 2014 is still ahead us and we really do expect a wide variety of exciting wearable devices to get announced by the time this year ends. If you are like one of us, who are eagerly waiting for these wearable tech devices to get announced, what are the best wearable tech devices to come out this year?
Truly, it’s quite early to predict about which all wearable devices will stun us or what can we expect from them. However, we have prepared a short list of the top wearable devices to see in 2014 so that you can keep your heartbeat safe for some of these!
1. Motorola Moto 360:
We did not believe Motorola still had the power to hit back hard in the Smartphones industry, until we saw the Motorola Moto G, which is Motorola’s best-selling Smartphone to date. Well, if you argue that it was because Motorola was then a part of Google and now not, then you are probably wrong. As we are going to see a similar wave of Motorola fans this year, similar to 2013, when the Motorola Mot G got announced.
And this year, the Motorola Moto 360 will give the spotlight back to Motorola. The Motorola 360 is a Smartwatch, but not “Yet Another” Smartwatch. Because it will be powered by Android Wear, a special built of Android specially designed for wearables. And moreover, the Motorola Moto 360 features a stunning round display, as per revealed images.
2. Apple iWatch:
A Few years back, when Apple announced the iPhone, no one could believe that it was powerful enough to create a storm in the mobile industry. However, the iPhone became a trend setter, and is still one of the best selling Smartphones out there. We do expect Apple to get into the wearable tech industry with the announcement of iWatch, which we all expect to be the next generation of perfect wearable devices.
The iWatch is expected to feature a tailored version of iOS, along with a couple of health sensors and a lot of stunning features and a gorgeous design. As of now, we do not have any official renders or specifications of the product, but no matter how or when it releases, we do expect it to be a trend setter, just like the iPhone.
3. Pebble Steel:
The original Pebble Smartwatch which was released at CES last year was loved by all the wearable tech enthusiasts out there. In fact, it was one of the first wearable Smartwatches to be announced and received widespread popularity, as it was one of the only options available for someone considering a Smartwatch. The Pebble Steel was announced again at CES this year. Well, it might be losing its glitter in the wearable tech industry because of some other giants that got announced or is pending to get out. However, if you are looking for a complete Smartwatch solution to integrate with any of your Smartphone, then Pebble is still one of the few options that you currently have.
