Not wanting to forgo its leadership position against Indian manufacturers, Samsung has turned its focus again to the entry-level market. Since past few months, this segment has got many offerings from the likes of Micromax and Karbonn. Though, it does have one or two devices in the range; they have gotten old with outdated Android OS. With this newest launch, Samsung hopes to regain its foothold in this segment again. Dubbed as Galaxy Star Pro Duos S7262, it can be considered as the bigger brother of Galaxy Star launched few months back.
As all Galaxy devices, Star Pro duos is loaded with Android skinned with Touchwiz interface. There are some apps like ChatON, ActiveSync preinstalled on it.

The smartphone is yet to be announced officially. However it’s already available for purchase online at homeshop18.com and several retail outlets. Its MRP is Rs. 7500 and could be bought for Rs. 6999 because of the discount offered.
Although it’s a good device, it seems to be lacking any killer feature, and even misses out on 3G connectivity and a good processor. The options available from Indian companies like Canvas Fun are a much better option than the Star Pro Duos.
