Motorola announces Moto G; will come to India in January 2014

Motorola, which was acquired by search giant Google last year has added another device in its portfolio after being acquired. While the first device X was its flagship device with interesting features, the second device Dubbed as Moto G will be targeted at mid-segment. Interestingly enough, the company stayed away from the spec war with Moto X, but the Moto G seems to be offering better specs when compared to similar devices in the same range. While the Moto X wasn’t launched globally, with Moto G, company is targeting developing countries.

The device is priced affordably at 179 USD for 8 GB model and 199 USD for 16 GB model. As mentioned earlier, the company is targeting developing countries with the device and it will be made available in India as soon as January 2014.
