Following the footsteps of Micromax and Lava, Karbonn Mobiles has introduced a new smartphone in its Titanium series. The device is a variant of its highly successful Titanium S5 and aims to offer large screen experience at an economical price. Since its pricing is low, it’s actually stripped down version of the Titanium S5.
Key features of the Karbonn Titanium S5i
Design: The cell phone is available in Deep Blue colour.
Display: The device offers a 5-inch screen size with the resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. It has a pixel density of 196 ppi.
Processor: The smartphone is powered by a dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz.
RAM: The processor is paired with a 512MB of RAM ensuring smooth running of apps and games on the Karbonn Titanium S5i.
Memory: The Titanium S5i has an onboard storage of 4GB. Users can expand the memory further up to 32GB by making use of a microSD card.
Camera: At the back, it has an 8MP camera with LED flash for taking photographs in low light conditions. For video calling purposes, it also has a VGA camera at the front.
Network: The device offers 2G and 3G support along with dual SIM slots.
Connectivity: The smartphone has all the usual options including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS.
Operating System: The handset runs on the Android 4.2 version (Jelly Bean).
Battery: It has a 2,000mAh Li-ion battery.
Pricing and Availability of the Karbonn Titanium S5i
The Karbonn Titanium S5i has been spotted on popular e-commerce portal HomeShop 18, though it yet to be formally launched by the manufacturer. The device has been priced at Rs 7,999.
Earlier, the company had launched another variant of the Titanium S5 called Titanium S5 Plus, which has similar set of specifications but slights better processor.
