Google launches Android 4.4 KitKat based Nexus 5 with 16 GB and 32 GB Storage Options

Finally, the Android smartphone we all were waiting for so eagerly has been unveiled! Yes, the phone is leaked again and again, but now it is officially launched from Google. The Nexus 5 offers the best in hardware coupled with pure Android experience at an awesome pricing.

Similar to Nexus 4, the Nexus 5 is built with partnership of LG and is mostly based upon its flagship device called G2. It features the potent combination of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 80 processor along with 2 GB RAM. Though the camera is a little less at 8 MP, it’s having an OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) capabilities which will compensate for hand movements during photo/ video capturing.

Google will also be selling its accessories. There are four colorful bumper cases available in black, gray, and yellow and red. There’s also QuickCovers in black and gray colors.

Pricing of the Google Nexus 5

Although the smartphone is not as cheaper as its predecessor Nexus 4 (priced around Rs. 25,000), it’s still the best buy. The 16 GB storage model is priced at Rs. 28,999, and the 32 GB model will cost little more at Rs. 32,999. It can be bought directly from Google Play Store however there is no mention when this might be launched in India. But, we’re hopeful as there is a Coming Soon tag, which means we might see it very soon.

The bumpers will be priced at Rs. 2,499, and the QuickCovers can be bought at Rs. 3,299.
