Amazon refreshes its Tablet Lineup with Kindle Fire HDX Tablets

E-commerce Company Amazon launched its tablets two years ago under the Kindle Fire name. It marked a huge shift in company’s strategy which was limited to web at the time for selling products/ content/ cloud storage. More importantly the devices were dirt cheap compared to tablets available with similar configuration. Reason being, Amazon wanted to make profits when people buy content such as apps eBooks music films etc. Now the company has announced new tablets which are just before the holiday season and well in time with new tablets like Nexus 7 (2013 Edition), LG GPad and several others.

Although the kindle devices use the android OS, but it’s actually completely forked version. This means that the users can’t even visit the Play Store, though people can surely visit Amazon’s app store for the same. The new tablets are loaded with latest Fire OS 3.0 with many design as well as functional improvements. One notable feature is Mayday, which allows users to contact Amazon’s technicians for live chat. They can help the user with their queries, and if required provide remote support by accessing the device.
