While 4k resolution display is still in development and is currently in prototype phase as demoed by LG’s 5.5 inch quad HD panel, companies are already gearing up for 4K video capture. Acer’s flagship device Liquid S2 is the first device with this functionality and is unveiled on the occasion of IFA in Berlin. The device is the successor to Liquid S1, which was released just a few months back.
In terms of design, the device is very distinct with its metallic body available in red and black color. Not just Ultra HD (4K) recording, it also has some other useful capabilities in the video department such as Fast Full HD @ 60 FPS, 4 x slow motion, etc. The camera is also capable of taking panorama images, and Acer has customized the software to allow quick first shot, best shot, photo tagging and more. Acer has also made some cosmetic changes to the Android OS with a UI called floating UI. What it means is that the user will be able to open translucent apps on top of any app they are using, thus enabling them to multitask without even exiting the work they might be doing. This also makes sure that the user is not distracted from their task.
Apart from these stand out features, the Liquid S2 is also packed in all other aspects-
