With the Global launch of Acer C720, Google brings Chromebooks in India

Just two days after the unveiling of stylish HP Chrome book 11, Google has launched C720 in partnership with Google. The C720 is successor to last C7 and C710 chrome books released last year. What’s more interesting with this launch is that now the chrome books will be available to purchase in India as well. Accompanying the Acer C720 is the HP Chromebook 14. Both of them runs on internet centric Chrome Operating System which boasts of fast booting times, among many other features.

Price details

Both the chromebooks will start selling from 17th October, however they are already available for preorder on Flipkart. The C720 chrome book is priced at Rs. 22,999, whereas HP Chromebook 14 will be costing Rs. 26,999.

Google is also bundling some exciting offers with these devices. Users will be getting 100 GB free cloud storage on Google Drive for two years. There are some internet plans as well from Airtel and Tikona broadband for wireless or broadband connectivity. Although they’re available in select cities only.
